I have AT&T DSL on my main PC and share it with my wireless router (DI-524), to my brother's or Dad's laptop, they will NOT connect to the router. Ipconfig says "Media disconnected" and when i try to use /release / renew it says "No operation can be performed while it has its media disconnected." When i try to "repair" the wireless it does nothing. I'm thinking BOTH these laptop's wireless cards can NOT be at fault, right? Yet, once i reboot the router, the laptops connect to it, BUT after i shut down or restart them, it gets messed up again
Is there anything i can do to save the router? Should i be looking for a new router? If yes, then what are some good Wireless N routers for under $100
