Hey I have An Athlon 3700+...with 280GB HD...one 200 and another 80....both of these hard drives are basically full...maybe a gig left on both combined..now whenever im using the computer...when i even open msn messenger or internet explorer...it makes a lotta noise...and the orange light starts flashing under teh power button...it doesn't run slow or anything...just a lotta noise...is that because the computer is like literally right beside my ear? because before it was under the desk...or is it because my hard drives are almost full? if so is that a problem ..should i free up space or get new drives? or is it fine?

my Gateway has a real quiet HD motor, compared 2 my Dell and Compaq, yours might be just a loud motor. you should really free some space up, how could you almost fill a 200GB HD?! lol, i wouldnt even be able 2 fill 10GB's on the 80 lol.

well mostly...tv shows...ive got 9 seasons of the x-files...6 seasons of the west wing..almost two seasons of LOST, and then some movies...some music...and a lotta P0rn...can u say p0rn here? i don't know so i put a zero after the p...dont think that matters much ne how...

i was just kiddin dude its not that loud...and the little noise it does make is probably because of the motor in the generic hard drives the big name brand companies use to make the computer cheap..
