Noisy Computer

Was just wondering if there is any way of slowing down the fans in my

machine, i have 2 quite large fans in my Machine and they are louder than

anything and it is annoying the hell out of me, is there some sort of program to

make it not as noisy????

It wouldn't be any software but a separate fan controller needed. The other option would be simply replacing the noisey fans with better ones to solve that in one shot.
 
You can try a program called speedfan. If those fans are connected to the mobo and not directly to the psu you should be able to.

I was going to add that SpeedFan was about the only software option but while looking at the front intake or side fans those usually grab a molex plug especially on gaming style cases coming right off of the supply. The cpu fan on the cooler and rear exhaust or top might be to the board there however depending on whether they see the large molex type or small slotted type for the board.
 
It could be that the PCs clogged up with dust, open it up and dust out all the fans using a can of compressed air, unless its always been loud in which case that wont be the problem.
 
You can get a fan controller and manually control them. If you want them to be permanently quiet, you can buy a resister and hook it up with the fan, usually dropping a 12v fan to 7v will keep it fairly quiet.

However the best way would be to buy some better quiet fans.
 
I would think simply replacing them would be the final solution since clogged fans would already be slowed down not noisey to start with. If those are 120mm in size you can replace them easy enough with some Antec blue led 120s since those always run quiet.
