Noisy Fan

About an hour ago i updated my intel 915g chipset's bios. Right after the bios was updated and my computer restarted the fan became very noisy. It just doesnt sound right. I updated the bios through intel's website. Any feedback would great. It sounds like my computer is about to take off :)

Yeah, that shouldn't do anything unless for some reason your fan's controlled by your bios and it suddenly started going faster. I know my old laptop was like that, but only during post...

It's probably just dying. Find and replace it. Or you can be cheap like I've been and try to oil then ;) But usually once they start to give out, there's no end. Eventually it'll become almost unusable. Heh, actually one of mine about stopped completely!
