non paying bidder on eBay!!

I recently sold a computer game to to snipertech## on eBay. the sale date was May 15, and i said i would wait 5 days for payment. Although he e-mailed me today and said that he paid on the 17th. I dont have any money or record of him paying, and if you look at his feedback, alot of sellers said that he never paid.

Here is my dilema, i have a feedback score of 39 and 100%, now if i leave him negative feedback saying that he never paid, hes going to leave me negative and said that he paid but i never shipped. I was wondering what you think i should do, if i should give a negative or just file a non paying bidder report. thanks.

I would give it a bit of time. However, if he really did not pay at all....then I have to say that I cannot understand these people.

If this happened to a normal buyer, i wouldnt be suspicous, but in his feedback there were many sellers who said that he never paid for item, and then he followed up saying that he paid and has proof, or he paid by MO. Im giving him till friday to pay, or i will tell ebay this.
 
LOL.... I am sorry but I think I know who you are talking about. On another forum I go to there is a guy with teh exact same story except he says he paid and you never shipped, ect. It realy is a small world.

For future sales on eBay you should clearly state it in the auction. In my payment details it I say payment must be received within 3 days of auction end or negative feedback will be given.

If someone files a false negative claim you can have it removed. Most eBay transactions go through Paypal and will have a record of payment.
