Non-SLI card into SLI Mobo?

Can I put a non-sli video card (such as PCI-E), into a mobo that has SLI and PCI-E slots?

I want to this video card (ASUS Gefore 8800GS) into this (ASUS M2N-SLI) motherboard.

Can i do that and not use SLI video cards?

That is a SLi compatible card.


SLi means that the mobo allows you to run 2 or 3 cards at the same time. It does not mean you HAVE to use 2 or 3 cards. It's an option.
