I need a modem which has more than one RJ11 port which I don't currently have.

No, you would have the modem hooked up to a computer and that computer, as well as computer 2 hooked up to a router with a RJ-45 cable. You then set computer 2 to connect to the internet through computer 1.

Ive tried this. It really doesnt work. Either that or the network setup wizard isnt doing its job properly...

I need to be able to plug the modem into the router, which means I need an extra RJ11 port because one (the only one in the speedtouch 330) is already taken up by the cable coming from the phone line filter.

What to do :( ???
