Noob building a computer

This is my first ever PC build of any kind. I have chosen the components and would just like someone to look over them for me to make sure all the pieces will work together. I'm not technically advanced in PC's so please refrain from suggesting changes over my head. I want to start small and within a rough $500 budget. Here is what I have picked out. Everything will be purchased from Newegg.

I went cheap on the Blu Ray driver because I want a Blu Ray burner but will use the player till the burners come down in price.

I have a copy of Windows Vista and of course a keyboard and mouse. Do I need to upgrade the integrated PSU? Is the integrated graphics in the motherboard good enough? I do not game on computers. This would primarily be for watching movies on a 40" TV and general computer stuff.

Another question, the video card is HDMI and the write up says it's 7.1 so does it play audio as well through the HDMI? I want to rip my CD's to the hard drive and use it to play music, so I want good sound.

Should lower the case price and look into a better video card, or increase the blue ray burner

I was told I didn't an expensive video card since I don't use the PC as a gaming machine.

How about this card http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814102842

and this case? http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811164098

Also, I plan on upgrading the Blu Ray drive in a year or so when burners come down in price so I just want something cheap to get me by.

You picked DDR2 RAM and a DDR3 motherboard, that simply will not work.

Generic power supplies are junk for anything decent, spend a bit more and get a 500W OCZ SXS for example. If the power supply in your case is standard ATX form factor, if it's something else you need that special supply.

Apart from that it seems decent for a HTPC setup

The power supply in the 40$ case is generic, I wouldnt trust it personally

Try to find a HTPC case that uses standard ATX PSUs and get a 500-600W OCZ SXS, great budget PSU
