Noob building new computer needs advice

So I am custom-building a new computer for the first time, and I was wondering if anyone could give me advice on whether or not these parts are good/compatible with one another.

I know a fair amount about building a computer, but this will be the first one I have ever personally built.

Below I have all the parts I intend on purchasing, but if anyone thinks there is a better part or setup to use, I would greatly appreciate the help.

This computer is intended to be for high performance gaming. My budget is fairly high for this project, so I am looking for the best parts that I can get for around $800-900.

Thanks :)

I am also thinking that I should get the case and power supply separate, but is it necessary?

Don't get the case and power supply together. The power supplies usually are of bad quality when they're bundled like that.
