or is the BIOS read the value inaccurately?

that is high temps.
in the BIOS it should read under 36c

Depends on what is going at the time... download CPU Temp.

Also i made a fault with me i left the plastic on the bottom of my CPU and took it off and now it is fine.... ssooo check it and you might have to reapply the heatsink..

Athlon X2 temp sensors are notorious for wildly inaccurate readings. Google "Athlon X2 temp sensor" and you'll see.

i've downloaded next sensor

the temperature reading decreases to 50 C but is that a little bit too high?

depends... i have a 6000+ and 50-51*c is as hot as it ever gets,meaning at full load on both cores. are you at load? or idle? that is a hot idle,yes. i use "core temp" to watch my temps from the desktop. what cpu fan/heatsink do you have? good thermal paste will make a dif too. my cores idle at 34-36 with zalman cpu fan, 2 silverstone case fans and arctic silver 5 paste,just for reference.
