Normal Temperature?

I have a 7600GT at the current time and when i run it, its idle temperature is 59C. When i play games for about an hour or 2 it goes up to 65 - 68C.

Are these normal ranges for the 7600GT?

My case isn't the "coolest" of cases since its a default HP case (since i bought the computer then upgrade everything)

i have 2 internal HD and they both run at around 40 - 43C.

My 7600gt runs idle 55°c and can reach similar temps under load. If it starts to reach 80°c+, you might then want to consider better cooling or whatever.

wellt hats good to know. others have said that it runs around 45 idle and goes up to 55 loaded. that made me worried a bit. but i guess as long as its not reaching 80 or so its a good thing.

Depends on the fan on the card and how good your air flow is in your case. I had a couple of 7600GT in SLI in mine and they ran around the high 30s idle and mid to upper 40s under load. I would not worry much unless it gets in the 70s
