Nortan blocking my LAN

Hey,
If i had been typing this 30 minutes ago it would look more like "F***en Laptop Piece of %chsd&88** screw me mother ggoj***8ndg".
Anyway, well I was having trouble exploring my wireless lapotop from my desktop which are connected via router.
Well the problem was norton antivirus (which is installed on the laptop)- once i turned it off the network worked smoothly.
Does anyone know how I can make Nortan allow my desktop to connect, and share files?

Any help appreciated
 
Is it Norton Anti-virus, firewall, system works, internet security, ect? When you installed it on your computer, it should have found a network and allowed connections to it, try un-installing it an re-installing it.
 
Try uninstalling.. I dislike all norton programs.. Who pays for that junk when you can get Free-ware which is as good or better?

i like norton because of the GUI, Updates come more frequently, and better support.
