nortan randomly appears on my computer

i recently downloaded divX 7 and when i went back on my computer Nortan was up..... WTF?? i never installed nortan and so i uninstalled it and im now doing a virus scan, does anyone know why i randomly got Nortan virus scan?

Is it norton security scan by chance? Usually comes bundled with different software.

Always pay very close attention to what you click when your installing stuff, I hate getting extra toolbars and what not.
