i think i fried my old motherboard due to is temps, looking back on it, it had gotten up to about 60*C and higher while overclocking, but im sure thats not that bad, but held there for awhile running at 2500MHz HTT for about 2 hours.... i was thinking about picking up one of these:

think it would help?
 
i would say most definately that would lower the temps on the northbridge. thats a very meaty heatsink and looks much better than any heatsink ive seen on nearly any motherboard
 
well.... you always get those hardcore aircoolers out there that will slap any lump of metal with a fan on it on any piece of hot equipment in their system
