Norton Security Scan keeps randomly reinstalling????

Hi All.

As per the thread title, Norton keeps reinstalling itself everytime after I get rid of it, I dont want it and I dont know where its coming from, Im thinking it might have come free with firefox, but I dont know, just that it reappears like a few hours after each time I uninstall it?

Any ideas how to kill it permanetly?

I've googled around and it seems to be a pretty common issue.
Try this thread from the norton support forums.

There might be some issue with the improper installation of nortan , so i would suggest to remove the norton completely (using norton uninstaller ) and try to reinstall the norton on the computer .
it will surely resolve your issue .

contact Norton and ask for there uninstaller to get rid of it or erase all files off it completely
