Ok, I just built my computer. When I got my gigabyte ds4 it came with a software cd. On this cd, there was free norton software. Despite all i heard about norton being bad, i though what the heck. I installed all of this software.
Within the next couple of days, upon boot-up, i got a symantec error, saying it couldn'd find the file NAVprod. Somewhat angry about this problem, i used the cd to re-install the program. In the beggining of the installation, it said that where was a file missing and it couldn't continue. In a fit of rage, i recklessly just manually found as many Norton files i could on my computer and deleted them. Still, I get the error on start up about missing the NAVprod file on my computer. How can i delete any and every trace of norton on my computer and have it removed on the "add/remove programs" list. I do no like norton.
