I have an old system (not my main machine) thats running 98se. Im trying to format and reinstall 98se but when i use the dos boot floppy and go through fdisk and reach format c: it runs through a fast process of about 10 seconds and tells me format is complete and ask for volume label and i select none and then it gives me the volume serial number but does not wipe off the drive. I put the disk in to reinstall and type setup at the a prompt it tells me not enough space because the old OS is still there. How do i get it to format? Thanks.
