Not secure

Lately when I search Firefox won't let me go to the website. It claims the website didn't secure it properly.

At the moment I'd stay away from Firefox until the zero day exploit is patched.

Firefox does that to me with many websites I know are safe. Yes the clock and date are accurate. I assume you mean the date and time on the lower right of my screen.

You should realistically only see that when going to known-self-signed-cert type of sites. Getting errors constantly is indicative of a problem.

I have reloaded Firefox but it still happens. I have seen.other complaints in other forums.

It says it is refusing to connect because the sit is not secure. Sometimes there is a blue button on the bottom of page to "Allow exception" which takes me to another screen where you have to allow permission. Other times there is no su h option and you can only return to the prior web page.

It should give you something more specific like:

Certificate Error
There are issues with the site's certificate chain (net::ERR_CERT_AUTHORITY_INVALID).

Yes there is that too, but when I go to the same site using Chrome there is no problem. I just want the old Firefox back.

Have you tried resetting firefox?
