Not sure what I need to upgrade

Hi,

I have an Intel i5 760 2.8GHZ quad core desktop, Windows 7 64bit

It has 8 GB ram (4 original and an additional 4 added by me)

I then have 2 Nvidia NVS420 graphic cards installed to power 8 * 24in monitors.

I use the computer for day trading stocks and shares and have various charts, and iexplorer pages, chrome pages open at once.

The problem I have is that when multiple pages are used the computer 'slows down' almost as if there is too many programs open.

I have tried to rectify this after speaking to my local computer shop by
1: Installing the extra RAM
2: Changing the Hard drive to SSD

I was then told it was probably the internet connection but have recently had fibre installed running at 77mb so now know its not that.

One thing that helped was switching my internet browser to predominantly chrome rather than internet explorer. Also if I close and repoen programs. The other thing that helps is using CTRL_ALT_DEL which sort of resets it momentarily and can stop the slowness.

I am not computer minded (you'd never guess :)) but was wondering if anyone could let me know the best plan of action.

The way I see it its either the GPU or the graphics cards ?

Any help will be appreciated and I'll try to answer any tech questions.

Thanks so much

The 760 is a pretty decent processor, I used to have one with 8GB of RAM. You have enough RAM. I think your issues are software-related. Scan for viruses or back everything up and then reformat and reinstall Windows.
