Not sure what Motherboard to get, any suggestions?

I plan on getting a Core 2 Duo processor but i'm not sure what motherboard to get, i do not do any overclocking and am looking to get one for about $140. I have to disc drives and two hard drives, so the board will need to be able to support that. I plan on using DDR2 800, also whats a good brand of DDR2 800 ram?

What do you mean by that? You mean 2 IDE disk drives and 2 IDE hard drives? Corsair is a great memory brand.

That's rough, as most motherboards now based off of the 965P or 975X chipset only have one IDE channel, unless the manufacturer added an extra IDE controller.

Well is there any other way i can hook up my disc drives or hard drives then?

You can get a controller card or IDE->SATA adapter. Either way is fairly cheap
