Not working keys on keyboard

I have some keys that just wont work on this keyboard.
I'm 100% sure that this is NOT a hardware problem, Because:

1. They sometimes work, sometimes they don't
2. When I press several numbers simultaneously, they give some new character.
3. When I start clicking them all rapidly, they start working.
4. All other peripheral keyboards (including On Screen Keyboard) works

Further explanation:
1. I have no idea why this should be happening!
I have tried to end all processes except the critical ones (smss,lsass,explorer...)
And this was still happening!

2. By the power of programming, I have found out that clicking some numbers simultaneously, a new character is produced. Here's what I have found out so far:
k3 k4 k5 k6 = chr113
k1 k6 k7 = chr190
k2 k6 k7 = chr116 (It also prints the time in notepad)

3. Its more like time intervals. Numbers works fine, and when I write letters, they stop (seems like). In fact I don't know It just happens randomly.

4. Yea. All other keyboards works fine. I used On Screen Keyboard for help writing this post.

Computer: Compaq Mini 110c-1100
Keys: 1, 2, 3, 4, 7, 8, 9, 0, down, right, leftAlt.
PS: I'm starting to believe in magic.
THIS REALLY IS THE WEIRDEST THING I HAVE EVER SEEN IN MY WHOLE LIFE!!

If all other keyboards work fine, then you have a bad keyboard and it needs to be replaced, they do go bad.

A computer repair shop should be able to replace the keyboard in a laptop. Most are not hard to do but some can be a pain getting to it. Do you eat or drink near the laptop? It's possible food or liquid has gotten into the keys?

Hi,

- John, thank very much for assisting this HP customer.
- ihato, as John indicates, we have also noticed sticky keys due to food and liquid. If you are able to install the keyboard, the HP system shows the part number for your keyboard is 535689-001 for $49.00, orderable at HP Parts 800 277-8164. You can probably find it for less by Googling the part number. You can contact me at [email protected] if you have questions.

My keyboard is perfectly clean, and no I don't do any eating or drinking near the laptop.

My periphery keyboard is 20 years old (older than me) and it looks like its in the worse condition, but unlike laptop's keyboard it works.

I'll try reinstalling windows, bringing the laptop to a repair shop.

reinstalling windows won't help. I think the keyboard driver is the same for all keyboards. If one works and the other doesn't then your fine with windows.

Has the laptop been dropped, or does it get fairly hot on a regular basis? You might be experiencing thermal creep on it.
