I am looking at getting some new memory for a notebook and i was wondering which you think is superior Ram:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16820144183
which is Kingston 1GB 200-Pin DDR2 SO-DIMM DDR2 533 (PC2 4200) with a cas-latency of 4

or:

which is Kingston 1GB 200-Pin DDR2 SO-DIMM DDR2 400 (PC2 3200) with a cas-latency of 3

the reason i am having trouble deciding is because one is 533mhz, but a cas latency of 4, and the other has a cas-latency of 3, but it is 400mhz. Which one would be better/faster?

Both sticks are pretty good and almost alike. If it was me I would just get the cheapest one.

normally thats what i would do, but the difference is only 8 bucks, which makes choosing so much harder.

well than if money isn't the case than I would get the stick that matches the speed of your current stick.

unless you plan on replacing your current stick.

also make sure your motherboard will support the amount of ram you plan on having.
