hello
Comming from the desktop computer world, I am lost when it comes to laptop computers. Happens that I am in the market to purchase a note book computer for my daughter who is a student at the local community college. It doesn't have to be fancy but has to contain the sufficient resources that will make it able to run sufficiently w/o an need for an upgrade(memory, harddrive size, floppy disk, dVD drive, internet dial up port connection, etc) in 6 months or so.
if there are any that come with wordproceessng applications that would be great also.
ALso can you suggest a printer for use with a laptop computer?
Thank you

want if ur looking for the basic simple laptop u are gonna want to go with dell. probably the best deals and u can also buy a printer for a good price along with the laptop. i beleive dell laptops come with wordperfect if u didnt purchase microsoft office. but that is probably ur best bet. also u can download free word processing programs.
