nothing in my device manager

the other day my kids where on computer for some reason they lost internet connection.I went into my device manager to see if my eithernet card was working.When i went into device manger there is nothing in there.no eithernet card or modem or display drivers.....the screen is blank.I dont know what they did is there something i can do.....or do i need to maybe reformat the drive

Could you please post a screen shot?

if you don't know how here's how:

1. When the device manager is on the screen press "Print Screen" normaly above the "insert" key.

2. Then go into paint and press CTRL+V and save it.

3. Go to www.imageshack.us and upload the file you just saved.

4. Then post the link that imageshack gives you.

5. Sit back and let us help you!
