This began right after I downloaded a codec for my Media player problems, which didnt work anyways. Look at the bottom right corner in this screen shot http://image64.webshots.com/64/2/0/51/504320051FgOWdj_fs.jpg Do you see the white and grey icon next to the clock? That pops up for an instant just as I sent a message using AIM. After the message is sent, the icon goes away. What in the world is it? I feel like something is screening my messages or something. I swear Im taking a hammer to this pile of junk very soon. Once this is sorted out, I have more problems to deal with. Im sure you guys will hear about them as well. GRR I cant post smilies either anymore. *gets hammer*

Edit: if that link doesnt work, try this one http://community.webshots.com/album/504307939gvmqLc

it seems like a video icon. probably a video codec trying to update or is running in the background.

it just appears instantly and you can hover your mouse over it to see its details right?

what codec did you download?

MrHakk, Here is all I know. Windows Media Player wasnt opening, I was getting an error message saying "An Internal Application Error Has Occured" so someone said to download a codec and sent me a link. And I showed you the link. Thats all I know.

Well MrNoLuck

you should think before you actually download links sent to you and you have no idea what they are. What made you think that it was a codec problem in the first place?
