Ntfs.sys and new RAM

Recently added new RAM to my computer, now the PC keeps crashing and telling me there is a problem with ntfs.sys and isapnp.sys. Never had the problem before, so I can only think that the problem is the RAM. I don't know what make/model the RAM is as I took it from another computer and plugged it straight in asuming it would work.

Does it work if you remove the new RAM you added?

haven't tryed but i assume it will, its probably just faulty RAM, i have more but its a lower value

the ram has to be in the correct slots

it should all be the same size/speed/timing/voltage

and most motherboard will only accpet 1,2, or 4 slots, but not 3

and again, they have to be in the right slots

usually the primary slots are blue, and then the other two are black

Yoy can put 3 sticks in any board just fine and mix size speed and timings.

If it does work when you pull the new RAM then you're right it's most likely faulty RAM.
