i told my sob story before, about my new 320gb WD drive losing its letter assignment and not being able to get it back. i looked at it today with some utilities and found it reformatted to FAT12 (I had it formatted to NTFS when i set it up). I think my computer, when it tried to boot off the disc because of the power outage, overwrote the original formatting into this. i have an NTFS reader, but of course it wont read the FAT12. so i was wondering if anybody new of a FAT12 reader utility where i could access the files on the disc to back them up, before reformatting. or anything else that will save my precious data!
