ntldr is missing?

when i try to boot into xp pro on my desktop pc in my signature i get this message. what does it mean, and what should i do. reinstall xp?

Either make a bootdisk from www.bootdisk.com or just get the ntldr file, boot into DOS, and put it where it needs to be (C drive, I think)

can an xp disk be used twice, or do you have to get a new serial key. i have another drive im thinking of putting in the computer and was curious.

You can use it as many times as you want, installing it on the same computer. You could buy a multiple license installation, in which case you could, but simply, no.

Have you tried pushing F8 before the Windows XP screen comes (black background) and select use last known good configuration. That might help or you can try to boot into safe mode and use the system restore utility and see if that will bring it back to its running state.

ive got the problem fixed now, i went and fixed it using the recovery console on the xp disc.
