ok so finally i put my system together ,turn it on and got the bios screen set date and time then boot from cd with the cd that came with my hard drive,it does a partition in it and ask me to reboot and istall my operation system ,so i insert the xp cd in the cd room, and fire it up,now a mesage appears "NTLDR is missing press ctrl alt del to restart,i do it and every time the above message appears,i tried to get into the bios again but i cant, anyone out there have any suggestions?

First off, trash the disks that came with your haddrive. 90% of them are junk. Go into the bios, and be sure the boot order has your CD-ROM first. Load the windows XP disk, delete the current partition and repartition using windows. You probably don't have to do this, but I just don't like those disks that come with HD's. Once you've partitioned and formatted, start loading windows.

I hate that file......iv had that same message like a billion times on 20 different hdds. Even some that have never been used. I had a hard drive before this one that when i first booted it up it said that, and im like wtf, cuz i hadnt even installed the OS yet. And this one did the same thing, even after i set the CD-ROM to load first. But eventually it worked.
