Hello all...

I've decided I would like to OC my video card. However, I recently discovered that when I try to run nTune, the computer gives me the *I'm thinking* mouse pointer for half a second, and then nothing happens..

My card is an eVGA 8800 GTS 640 wit ha G80 core. My OS is Vista Ultimate x64.

Any ideas?

nTune is garbage. The program trashed my computer, thatguy16's, and thousands of others.

Use RivaTuner to OC your GPU. ;)

O sorry, I forgot to mention, my O/C Program, mine is ATI Tool, it has a auto O/c for you that keeps pushing the GFX card until it can't go on or until you start getting Artifacts, then it drops it down a little, works like a angel... LOL

haha, no offense taken. (and I'm quite pleased with Vista to add to that)

Alright, I already have RivaTuner downloaded, I just thought I'd trust a program directly from nVidia more. But I guess my initial thought was wrong :o

Nvidia is loosing it man.. ATI is hurting Nvidia. like Intel is hurting AMD... LOL... FUnny AMD loose in CPU wins in GFX card.. :D

Well hopefully if (Have they already?) nVidia and Intel work out a deal then nVidia will do a little better. go 45 nm on a GFX card ;)

yup, that was on my AMD system. With and "high end" NVIDIA chipset.

It tossed my bios, and post led codes all over the place :P (not to mention, i didn't touch any settings, it was all from it being installed.)

We should file a lawsuit. :P
