They're official nVidia drivers, I just don't think they've been released yet.

No, sorry. These are for Vista only. However, there are 178.13 which will work in XP;

What does it do? Did you un-install the old ones?

just freezes and can't do any thing esape takes me all the way back to my desktop
just uninstalled the old ones reinstalled the new ones works fine now thank man.

Try the 178.13's (which are a slightly older version) to make sure it is the new drivers causing the problem.
