Nvidia 6200 Overclocking

Dude, as much as you think you have answered my questions, please be specific and don't worry about giving me an essay ;)

1. Budget - total, and in what currency
2. Monitor resolution
3. Actual PSU make and model

From what I can tell

You will need a new PSU, RAM, motherboard, CPU and probably (unless you can find other ways) and new copy of Windows. If you wanna spend less than $200, you're kidding yourself. $500 you are probably talking business.

the pentium 4 architecture vs the amd architecture is night and day, even if you went like 3 or 4 years back, a 2.4 ghz amd single core would stomp a similarly clocked pentium 4...but yea, two cores would be better than one and even more than that would be cake

however now intel is kicking amds butt...but eh, we do need a budget here to work around, otherwise we are waving smoke around.

All I want right now is a new ATX mobo ram, and cpu.

I will play around $150 bucks for the three.

My current resolution is 1152 by 864 pixles. It is subject to change in case I get a new monitor.

I have a cheap deablotach 500watt powersupply. I know I shouldn't skimp on a power supply. I'll get a better one later.

Time for a new computer mate. If you upgarde those components you will also need a new copy of windows.
