My 6600gt runs at 62 degrees celcius on heavy load.Is that ok? Im using pc wizard 2005 to monitor the temperature.

I've read many reviews on the 6600gt and with stock cooling, its been said that they tend to run hot. 62 degrees is actually lower than what most were reporting so be happy, youre below average. =)

fo' real? well, i guess it dpeneds on what manufactiurer you go with. XFX have a very good stock cooling on the 6600GT. mines never gone above 55°c under load.

those temps are good, i must admit ive not had any high temps with mine and its overclocked. although i admit that overclocking without volt modding wont increase increase temps by a significant amount.
i think the highest ive seen it is at 70 degrees in my old small case

My 6600GT on stock cooling runs at about 55 under load. If you find yours is getting very hot (say >70) check the mounting of the HSF, some of them are prone to rocking which seperates the chip/heatsink from the thermal pad.
