NVIDIA 6600GT or Xerox 19" refresh rate problem

Hey All, thought someone could help me out with a little problem.

On most games on my PC, the monitor will display the following message on startup "Target out of range" (or something along them lines, thought it may be the refresh rate). The games that I have tried are GTA III, NFS Carbon, and more.

I have updated my nvidia driver and direct x but still does not work. My spec is as follows: -

- Xerox 19" Widescreen TFT
- Nvidia 6600GT 128MB PCI-E
- AMD64 3500+ AM2
- 160GB SATA 2 HD
- 80GB SATA HD
- 1GB DDR2 RAM
- Wireless

If anyone can help me, itd be much appreciated (Rep will be given).

just to let you know, i can run the games fin with the refreshlock program. Thanks anyway!

"Target out of range" means that your video card is outputting a refresh rate that is not supported by your monitor. Try to refresh lock it to 60Hz and its bound to work.
