Basically,

I bought a 8600GT for my new computer ages ago. But its taken me a whole lot longer to buy the parts than I originally planned.
I've finally got round to purchasing it.

But now, I looked inside my the GFX card box and I seem to have lost the driver DVD. My question is, When I build the PC, Without installing the driver. Will I be able to see anything on a monitor plugged into the GFX card?

If not, How can I get the driver back? xD

Its a XFX GeForce 8600GT 1GB Fatal1ty edition I think?

Here's a pic of the box just incase I got it wrong :)

Thanks :)

The display will still work when you are installing the os. when you can get on the Internet you can go to Nvidia's web site and download the latest drivers for your operating system. If it makes you feel better you can download the driver, open the file location and copy the .exe to a flash drive just in case you run into problems.

Here is the download page:

Thanks so much :)

So the driver is basically just so you can optimise the Card?
It'll still display something without a driver?
