At the moment I have a 256MB NVidia GeForce FX 5600XT and am looking to upgrade. I don't have a lot of money and I only have an AGP slot so my options are limited. I have seen this card:

http://www.play.com/PC/PCs/4-/86620...MB_Connect_3D_AGP_Graphics_Card/Product.html#

The ATI Radeon 9250 256MB AGP for a reasonable price but aren't sure if this card is significantly better than the one i already have.

I hear good things about the 6600GT but cannot seem to find it new on an AGP card.

Your help would be greatly appreciated.

Featuring video output support
OK, can someone tell me what video card DOES NOT support video output ;)

But I totally agree with Omega. My Macintosh has a 9200, I know how bad they are. Stick with you 5600 if that's all you can afford now.

The 6600GT is good, but I suppose it is becomming more rare. The 7300GT is very similar(sligtly slower) but I don't beleive it's offered in AGP...

I think they mean video output for a tv, either RCA or s-video :P

The family PC has a 9200SE, and it was ok for playing UT2004, but anything newer then that is virtually unplayable. Not to mention it doesnt even support DX9 fully.

Haha, yeah, I figured, but you'd think they'd say TV Output or something like that

I remember when the 9200 cards came out. One of my friends got one so he'd have a better card than my 8500 :P

Well, i used to have a 9250 on my PC and it almost made no difference from my onboard video!! (nVidia 6150 LE)

strangehold already linked to a 6600GT for $100 on Newegg,i'd go with that, cheap price with good performance...plus you can probably get it up to 6800 speeds.
