Not necessarily, a 6800 AGP will easily beat a 6600 PCI-E, for example. But the 6600GT is MUCH better than the 9550. I take your point though, as far as upgradability in general and performance in the same card, the PCI-E is better.

yea, the 6600gt is definitely as good as a 9800pro, or an x700pro
definitely WAY better than a 9550...
