Nvidia GeForce 6800 GTO overclocking/unlocking

have an Nvidia 6800 GTO (note the GTO. Not GT) which I think has 12 pixel pipelines and 5 shaders compared to the GT's and Ultra's 16 and 6. Apperently, it is a dumbed-down dell version of the 6800 (dell... yeuch). I need help on unlocking the other 4 pipelines. I have heard it is possible, but don't now how.

they both switch back and forth nowadays... actually nvidia used ati's "xt" model but dumbed it down instead of making it better lol...
and ati added an x onto the XT for their x1900xtx model just like nvidia added an x onto the gt for the 7800gtx lol...
i duno nowadays, you really just need to look it up!

I have a dell (or did, however you want to look at it) but have added a few things to it so it isn't so crappy, like a case light and RAM. I got it when I wasn't old enough to decide what kind of computer to get or even to build one, but my next one will be built.

As a few pointers for your system, i would dump the Dell RAM and just use the Corsair. And i would also get a new PSU.

Why? Would the Dell ram slow it down?
Thats why I'm looking for a new case. I found one that fits my cooling needs and has a big(ger) PSU of 450 watts. Hopefully that should be enough.

Most likely the Dell ram has higher timings, and overall lower quality. So that means that your Corsair ram is running slower then it can do match the speeds. Its probably not a big difference, but in the future i would look at upgrading them.

As for the new PSU, i highly suggest getting something that doesnt come standard with a case, since there usually pretty cheap and low quality.
