NVIDIA Geforce 8400GS noise [Read]

Hello and greetings,
I have a problem with my 8400GS, it is a PCI, not PCI Express model, and in any computer I put it in, it makes a horrid rapid clicking noise. I'll upload a sound recording of it later, but from this, what can you tell me? The power cable leading to the fan is not colliding with the fan, at least not in a way that I can see. Any help (not an opinion) is helpful.

I don't know much about fans, and physical contact with the fan blades was the only thing I knew about that could cause that. I'll probably salvage the fan off of an older Radeon that is of a similar size and same connector. Problem solved I guess.
