Nvidia Geforce 8500 GT

i have a Nvidia Geforce 8500 GT, i was wondering how good it is, and if it is good enough to run crysis, assasins creed or oblivion. and if it isnt what should i upgrade to i have a budget of around 60-70 pounds (around 130-150 dollars). when i originally bought the card it was with my computer and i thought it was goint to be really good because it said it was 1gb (i dont know that much about computers) my computers spec is:
motherboard: asus P5GC-MX/1333
Processor: 3.00 core 2 duo
Ram: 2gb
os: windows xp home

I Think it wil struggle with crysis,i know people have ran crysis on a 8600GT on medium settings but what their framerates were i dont know.

i suggest you download the demo,set graphics to medium and try it.
 
ok, thanks i might look at upgrading (which is annoying considering ive only had it for a few weeks) and suggestions of a reasonabley priced upgrade? im hoping for one that will run crysis on high settings but isnt to expensive
 
thanks =] and how much do you think i would get for my current card, dont have a box for it though and should i just sell it on ebay?
 
yeah you will probably get about £40-45 tops for your 8500.

i would go with the 3850 that danny posted because i doubt you will get a 8800GT for less than £120
