Nvidia graphics card suggestions

At the moment i have currently got 2x 6800GS xxx edition in Sli. I want tto know if upgrading to a 7800GTX would dramatically improve performance and quality in games. Will there be much of a difference? Is it worth it?

I think there might be an improvement but it will be better for the future. In a few years you can upgrade to another in SLI.

I do not think that you would need tu upgrade for some time to come. Your cards are very good and given that you have them in SLI, it should be plenty :) It would be a waste of money in my view.

yep i agree wiv jan, im a big games fan and i am running 1 6800GT at the mo. It seems to do the job for me :).
 
id say yeah, go for it, but thats only cause id be interested in buying one off of you :P

look at the specs of the 7800GTX, and even the 7800GTX 512MB!!!! its insane!
 
lol i don't know what to do. In the UK they are around £350! I am just wondering if i sjould wait until the 7900GTX comes out then i could buy 2 7800GTX's cos they will be cheaper. Maybe buy 1 7900GTX :D

it would be best to wait and get the 7900gtx. by the time it comes out 2 7800gtx'x will cost about the same price as 1 7900gtx. also 2 6800gs's are fine for now.

Go for it mate it will be better and more future proof.
And they overclock to stupid settings.
 
i think that i would just stick with the dual 6800GS's. i mean it would boost the performance but you must have awesome performance right now as it is
