Nvidia OC config Reseting after reboot

Hi

The other day I reformatted my pc, and so my previous stable overclocking settings for my GPU were wiped. So I went about the same routine again. However a few things have changed that I think are causing my settings to not stick.

Before the reformat I was using a 94.xx something or other forceware driver, which required coolbits to be run in order to unlock the overclocking panel. Now it seems with the latest driver all you need to do is to download Ntune, which I have done. And on the whole it’s a not bad. However as I have explained no matter how much or little I overclock by, when I reboot it resets to factory settings. I can't find an option like "use these settings on start-up"

Can someone please show what I am doing wrong with the new software?

Thanks in advance

JD

The last I checked this is a bug or error in the autotuning feature. Try downloading the most recent version, if you haven't already. They may have fixed this in an update.

The same thing happens to me. I really dislike ntune, coolbits was a much simpler, and all around better program. :\ But after my driver upgrade it won't allow me to use coolbits, for some reason.

Well coolbits was only a registry tweak, so now with the new forceware drivers it will not work and instead you need nTune.

hmm i think i might go on the nvidia forums and see if its stated there.
