nVidia or Radeon?

That's not according the latest poll seen! at http://www.computerforum.com/4405-nvidia-ati.html Before the two NVidia driven cards on the last build followed by the eventual ATI Radeon 9550 I never used cards with ATI chips. The 9xxx models saw the move there. But the poll shows NVidia in the lead.
Thats because in the past few years, nVidia has generally been in the lead. But thats not to say that before 2004, it wasnt. As I said before, in 2002 ATI held the lead for a long time with its 9700PRO.

And they will be seing their edge again with the R600 models coming out soon if you like cards that are 12" long. Big Foot! :P Regardless I still haven't gone with anything but ATI models since the MSI GeForce FX5200 used in an older case. The Asus equivalent is still in use in another case I built for someone else a few years back.

Thats just a poll, has nothing to do with who technically has the best card at anyone time. I hope you dont get your facts from polls!!

You should be happy with the poll results there since you have an NVidia model shown in your sig. :P Meanwhile I'm still satified with the Radeon X1300Pro installed here. The R600 Radeon X2000 9" retail model does sound inviting however.

About 50-50, I build alot of computers so I,m changing out stuff alot, Have 4 running now, this one, 1 939 and 2 754s. Have nvidias in the AM2 and 939. The 754s I have a 9800pro in one and a X1600pro in the other one.

Have four 939s running here. Two have the Radeon X1300 Pro, one has a X700Pro, and the other has another ATI AGP model. Two cases have the AMD64 3500+, one has the 3800+ X2, and the last with the X700 Pro is currently running a 3200+ 939 model there. They are all currently ATI. Gee that Asus GeForce FX5200 is still running in the case with an Atholon 3000+ at the moment. But that will see an upgrade later in the year.
