NVIDIA problems

Hi,

having some problems with GeForce GT 620 by NVIDIA. What happened is, I went to upgrade my GPU but, found out my PSU couldn't handle it, I then went to put my old NVIDIA card back in.

The problems I get are: After a couple minutes, computer may or may not freeze up. After 10 seconds, I will get a message saying the system has recovered from a graphics card fail or the computer will just shut itself off and then reboot. Safe mode works 100% fine with no probs.

What I've tried so far: System restore. Uninstall all the drivers and then reinstall. Rebooting the computer. None of these have seemed to work, any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks.

A Radeon 5830. It requires at least a 500 watt power supply I believe and my PSU is only 350 W (next time, will research more).

Always remember to uninstall the old video drivers before replacing a card :good:
