The Quadro and FireGL series is designed for workstations (ie, CAD), and rendering still images. Gaming graphics cards are designed specifically for gaming.

That being said, the Quadro 3400 is probably not the best for gaming.

That being said, the Quadro 3400 is probably pretty bad for gaming..

They arent bad for gaming but they aren't the greatest

i think they are more designed for do high speed rendering images and Open GL while the gaming card do more on pixel shaders and what not



this may be total bullshit or not but i think it sounds right

It's actually quite equal to the 7600GS... But yes, definetly not worth the money if you're planning on gamming.

I did a quick Froogle search and I found that the Quadro 3400 is selling for around $500+ for a refurb, while the 7600GS is well under $100.
