Oblivion Crash...

So finally my computer downloads the Oblivion: GOTY I got from Calibretto's contest. It downloads DirectX drivers and the menu pops up in the windows interface. I select Medium settings and press play. Everything looks fine as the screen goes black, but then the screen changes to the Windows background with a black box and a close program prompt. I can't click on the close program prompt unless I Ctrl + Alt + Delete... help!

Okay, if I close the program like 2 or so times after trying to open it, it will sometimes load, but I don't want to deal with this all the time.

Do you have any mods installed? as they could be conflicting with the game

Nope, the whole game is brand new, haven't had time to get any mods.

Are you sure your comp is capable of running it on medium graphics? If thats not a problem, I would install the latest drivers and if that doesn't help I would do a re-install.
