hi does anyone know of any patches for oblivion to help with random crashes
the game is great but deeply unstable i know of six people with the game all experiencing crash problems one of the people has the game on 2 diffrent pc and it crashes on both. just for interest post if you have same problem
 
I would not say "deeply" unstable, but yea, some people have found it to crash. I believe there is a patch out but I'm not sure what it fixes. I've played a bit of the game and it where stable on my machine. What are your specs? I believe the patch had something to do with the game crashing while closing, or saving on a Athlon 64 system. I could be wrong. Google for "Oblivion patches", You'll find out soon enough :-).

Whats the problem with saving on an Athlon 64 system, Im thinking of getting this game soon, is this problem major:confused:

I'm guessing... there might not be anything. I "thought" I read something. Anyhow get the game. You won't be sorry, I've experienced no problems myself on my Athlon 64. Well besides I have to turn down the graphics a bit, and I don't like that. I'm going to upgrade Video to help that a bit.

Also, Will 1.5gb ram in single channel be able to cope? because I know that this game is more demanding than FEAR and FEAR is known to use more than a gig. So do you think 1.5 will be able to hack it?:)

I have Corsair 1gb + 256 x2

Hey. is Oblivion an RPG game, like the oldest RPG for gba like pokemon. I was just wondering. Can yall give me some background information about it? I do not want to know what it is about.

its kinda rpg.... but styled in the first person and in my opinion its better than any rpg that ive played

Minor problems I believe, is the verdict.

Oh man, I was hoping to max it out on this 68GT @ Ultra. :( Sloppy code?

I must look into a better videocard as well.

i'd put it down to vast amounts of detail lol... however i've has a major gameplay issue with regards to the main quest screwing up and a few crashes.
the main thing causing me problems right now is lack of memory.
