Oc a amd a2 4400+

SOZ ABOUT THE TITLE!
ok so i have my X2 4400+ 2.21GHz running at 2.59, now if i dont OC the chip runs at 32-34c but if i OC it then the temp same the same, how can this be and is it safe to run this chip at this speed?

That's fairly small change in clockspeed, such a small change won't show in idle temps. You'll need to test your temps under load or OC way more before you'll see a difference.

Also, it SHOULD be safe to run the chip at that speed but you should run some kind of stress test. The only one I know of is orthos, someone else might have (better) suggestions.

Orthos, Prime 95, F@H, anything is really fine.

I wouldn't go over 40C idle, and 65C load.
