Can you tell me how I do it please beause I went to the BIOS and entered CPU configuration but everything seemed to be grayed and could not change anything. There were some enable and disable things underneath the CPU info so maybe I have to change something there to be able to OC it?

Thanks

starting off, try bumping your FSB to 350. if your ram is set to a 1:1 ratio, then this will overclock the ram a little bit to 700mhz.

you should get 2.8ghz out of that.

I went into the CPU configuration of the BIOS and I did not see anything that you can change. CPU info was like grayed and could not go on it. Do I have to press something to enable OC???

I had a e6400 in my old pc, now in my wife's. I got it 3.2 easy and ran for it for almost 3 years. Great little cpu she is sitting at 2.13 in my wife's computer, in retirement now processing facebook and other silly programs.
