Hi, I am trying to overclock my e6750 to 3.2Ghz, which from other posts I realize people are have easy times doing so. So far I am only getting it to 2.8 (8x350). Here are my specs:
1.GIGABYTE GA-EP45-UD3P LGA 775 Intel P45
http://www.gigabyte.com.tw/Support/M...ProductID=2919
2. E6750 (8x350=2.8ooMhz) Vcore 1.328
3. 4x1gb CORSAIR XMS2 DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400C4)
4-4-4-12 @ 2.00v running at 840 MHz

4. SAPPHIRE Radeon HD 4870 X2 atd efault clocks.
5. 850W SILVERSTONE PSU

Could the memory be the problem? I was reading a post where someone was playing with NBcore voltage.. Whenever I go over 8x360 then my computer shuts down and i have to reset the MB. Any ideas?
